July 8 2024Mayerthorpe Fire Department has issued a FIRE ADVISORY effective 11:00 July 8, 2024.
Forecasted extreme heat weather warnings are in effect, pushing the Fire Hazard rating to Very High.
Residents are to use caution and continuous monitoring of backyard fire pits and wood fired appliances.
Fire permits will not be issued.
Fireworks are prohibited during a Fire Advisory or Fire Ban.
