This position is full-time and permanent with minimum 40 hours per week. The Equipment Operator shall be proficient in the operation of mobile equipment maintained and utilized by the Public Works Department. This equipment is subject, but not limited to: Grader, Sweeper, Bob Cat, Backhoe, Gravel Truck, and Loader. The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment physical and a criminal record check prior to being hired. Job description is available upon request.
This position also includes various other tasks including, but not limited to, physical labor (including ability to lift to 40 lbs.), building, water and sewer maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications required for the position:
Minimum academic level of high school graduation or equivalent.
At least three years of related experience in operating equipment.
Valid Class 3 Drivers License with Air Brake endorsement.
