EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – PUBLIC WORKS CASUAL LABOURER

The Town of Mayerthorpe is seeking applications for a Public Works Casual Labourer.  This position is 8 hours per day, needed on an on-call basis to cover off for vacation, sickness, and other days.  This position includes various tasks including, but not limited to, equipment operation, physical labour, water and sewer maintenance and repairs. Job description is available upon request.

Qualifications required for the position:

  1. Minimum academic level of high school graduation or equivalent;
  2. Experience with operating equipment;
  3. Clear Criminal Record Check;
  4. Valid Class 3 Drivers License with Air Brake endorsement.

Are you interested in the future of the Mayerthorpe Public Library?  Why not become a member of the Board?

The Town of Mayerthorpe is seeking 1 member to fill the vacancy on the Mayerthorpe Public Library Board;

The Library Board meets for regular meetings 9 times a year to provide governance of the Library for the Town of Mayerthorpe.  The Board consists of 9 members from the Town of Mayerthorpe and surrounding area.  Trustees serve a term of 3 years.
