Mayerthorpe Senior Outreach is a service that provides assistance in many ways for seniors and for the community.   We find transportation to medical or dental appointments for seniors.    We will provide contacts for those that need help with yard work, lawn care, light housekeeping and home repairs.   Income tax preparation is FREE for anyone with low income regardless of age.  Canadian Pension Plans and Old Age Security forms are readily available and we will assist anyone that would like help in filling out their forms.  We will happily provide shut-in phone calls as requested.  If you are a shut-in or know of someone that could use a friendly phone call to say hi and how are you, Senior Outreach will be of assistance to you in any way we can. Our office hours are 9:00am – 1:00pm Tuesday to Thursday.  We are located in the Community Services Building next door to the Town Office.    Drop ins are always welcome.  If you have spare time and would like to help our community we are always on the lookout for more volunteer drivers and handymen.
